YAP Studios is a design and engineering studio founded in 2013. Its partners came from Apple’s Human Interface team. YAP is small by design: the people who talk to you are the people who design and write the software.

What YAP does

• Designs and builds native software on Apple platforms, Android, and the web for institutions where a mistake is expensive: assessment, developer platforms, telecommunications, retail.
• Builds and maintains enterprise design systems, and renders them natively inside AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT through MCP Apps.
• Verifies what ships. YAP runs interaction, accessibility, and design-conformance evals against every build, and treats a finding without a reproduction as not a finding.
